Taking Your Yoga Deeper
Learn how to transcend the physical body through a tried and tested yogic approach to meditation. Jenny Light is a highly experienced yogi, author and teacher of meditation with the wisdom to guide her students through many of the common pitfalls in meditation.
This workshop will focus on:
Pranayama - a breath focus through which you will learn to move life force (prana), not simply the physical breath
Easy asana (physical postures) intended to hone mental concentration & physical alertness
Mantra- aloud and then mentally to shift focus from external experience
Meditation to transcend the physical body into the astral body (and Cosmic Consciousness beyond)
A specific daily practice for sitting in meditation and for a sattvic (more spiritual) lifestyle generally
Wear loose or comfortable clothing. Bring a light packed lunch and a pashmina/blanket for meditation.
